Speaking For The Trees
In this week’s newsletter, we check on the state of Ocean Avenue's urban canopy and more.
Volunteers are needed to continue work on the community mosaic project.
Sisterhood Gardens will hold its monthly volunteer build day this Saturday.
“This upcoming build day is special too because we will be continuing our community mosaic project,” according to an announcement. “It’ll take a community to help finish it too.”
The organizers will share with participants seedlings of Thai basil, scallions, kale and lettuce.
It’s recommended that volunteers bring their own a water bottle, hat and a friend.
