The Friends of Oceanview-Merced Heights-Ingleside’s Mini Parks will host a community clean up event of the Randolph-Bright Mini Park on Saturday.
Volunteers are welcome and the group will provide clean up tools and refreshments. They will also distribute free school supplies, books for all ages from the Ocean View Library and backpacks to students, according to Johanna Lopez Miyaki, one of the group’s founders.
“We will be in the park with free books and school supplies as well as refreshments and would love to meet and talk with neighbors about our park improvement projects in the OMI,” Lopez Miyaki announced on Nextdoor. “Help us keep our community clean and connected!”
This cleanup is organized in partnership with Recreation and Parks Department, Department of Public Works, San Francisco Public Library, We Are OMI and the OMI Cultural Participation Project.
