The annual event designed to strengthen the relationship between police and communities will be held at the Ward Rec Center.
The San Francisco Police Department’s annual National Night Out event in the neighborhood at the Minnie & Lovie Ward Recreation Center.
National Night Out, the nationwide effort designed to promote crime prevention efforts in neighborhoods by bringing together residents, law enforcement, businesses and community groups.
“This will be the best year yet, as we have many community members who we are partnering with to make this a successful event,” Taraval Station acting Capt. Aaron Lozada stated. “There will be entertainment, a backpack give away for kids, delicious food, information booths and overall a good time.”
The greater Ingleside neighborhood is primarily served by Taraval Station. Parts are served by Ingleside Station.
Ingleside Station is holding its National Night Out event at Herz Playground, which is located at 1701 Visitacion Ave. There will be a bounce house for children, games with prizes, barbecue for the first 350 attendees and a chance to win Golden State Warrior tickets for the first 50 attendees.
