Three Ingleside small businesses are hosting a free family friendly community event for Mother’s Day this Saturday.
Little Oceanauts, That’s Amore Woodfired Pizza and The Ingleside Light are hosting a free Mother’s Day event for families Saturday at Little Oceanauts.
Little Oceanauts, the neighborhood’s indoor playground and party venue for children, will have free play time for ages one to ten in the indoor playground. There will also be cotton candy, popcorn and pizza from nearby That’s Amore along with arts and crafts for children to make Mother's Day cards for their moms.
“We want to bring the community out to celebrate Mother's Day,” Little Oceanauts co-owner Kyle Wong said. “We want to get everybody out again to check out our place, and do some arts and crafts.
Little Oceanauts features a three-story obstacle course play structure with a trampoline, slides, tunnels, ball pits, wall activities and a soft foam area. The venue has free wi-fi and sells snacks and drinks. It’s now taking enrollments for its five-week summer camp in June.
"I'm happy The Ingleside Light is in a position to sponsor a nice neighborhood event celebrating Mother's Day," publisher of The Ingleside Light Alex Mullaney said. "It's an easy opportunity for the community to come together."
