1AM, short for First Amendment, just put up another vivacious mural in Ingleside. This time, it quotes a hit from ol’ Blue Eyes.
“We had quite a few Frank Sinatra fans on Ocean Avenue!” 1AM’s Dan Pan said.
It’s one of many artworks that have been painted across San Francisco since the shelter-in-place public health order was issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
1AM’s Antoine Marnata painted a mural early Tuesday morning on a long-vacant Bank of America ATM vestibule on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue with permission of the property owner.
The Ocean Avenue Association, a nonprofit charged with managing the Ocean Avenue Community Benefit District hired 1AM to place this mural and those on the Geneva Avenue retaining wall and the former El Rey movie palace.
