INGLESIDE, San Francisco — The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.
Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 11:05 a.m. on the 1200 block of Plymouth Avenue.
Monday, Jan. 13, 2020
A forced-entry burglary was reported at 5:14 a.m. on the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 4:38 p.m. at the intersection of San Jose and Lakeview avenues.
A traffic collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist was reported at 7:58 a.m. at the intersection of Sagamore Street and Orizaba Avenue.
A person about to enter the Safeway on the 600 block of Monterey Boulevard at 6:18 p.m. was engaged by three people outside the supermarket. He was assaulted and his cell phone taken when it fell out of his pocket. The three aggressors fled the scene. The victim reported the incident at Ingleside Police Station.
Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020
A license plate was reported stolen at 12:20 p.m. on the 300 block of Chester Avenue.
A traffic collision involving a vehicle and a tree was reported at 2:05 p.m. at the intersection of Faxon Avenue and Ocean Avenue.
Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers patrolling the 1300 block of Ocean Avenue at 10:00 a.m. observed a person lying on the stairs of a church. They approached the person, found that he had an arrest warrant out of Marin County and arrested him.
A report of fraudulent trickery was made at 12:09 p.m. on the 100 block of Orizaba Avenue.
Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020
A license plate was reported stolen at 3:58 p.m. from the intersection of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Garfield Street.
A person reported that their roommate stole their laptop at 1:30 a.m. on the 200 block of Dorado Terrace.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 9:47 p.m. on the 100 block of Lobos Street.
Friday, Jan. 17, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a stabbing on the 900 block of Darrien Way at 9:42 p.m. The victim told them he got into an altercation with the suspect when entering his friend’s house. The suspect left the area.
A vehicle was reported vandalized at 5:38 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ocean Avenue.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 4:30 p.m. on the 300 block of De Montfort Avenue.
Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020
A vehicle was reported vandalized at 8:06 a.m. on the 700 block of Grafton Avenue.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 10:00 p.m. on Farallones Street.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 4:04 a.m. on the 100 block of Miramar Avenue.
A traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Plymouth Avenue.
A hit-an-run between two vehicles was reported at 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard.
