The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.
Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019
A package was reported stolen at 1:57 p.m. on the 00 block of Geneva Avenue.
Monday, Dec. 9, 2019
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision on the 200 block of Broad Street at 4:46 p.m.One driver admitted to driving without a drivers license and auto insurance. Officers performed a field sobriety test and arrested the driver for driving under the influence of alcohol.
A traffic cone was reported stolen at 12:38 a.m. on the 200 block of Harold Avenue.
A package was reported stolen on the 200 block of Beverly Street on 7:29 p.m.
A cellular phone was reported stolen at 6:07 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Fairfield Way.
A vehicle-to-vehicle was reported at 11:11 a.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Miramar avenues.
Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a robbery on the 300 block of Holloway Avenue at 10:21 p.m. Two suspects approached the first victim as he exited a ride-hail vehicle and pointed a gun at him. They stole his property. The second victim, who was delivering an order of marijuana, reported suspects matching the same description took his delivery and belongings at gunpoint before taking off in a get-away vehicle.
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a shooting at 3:57 p.m. at the intersection of Plymouth Avenue and Broad Street. Victims reported a drive-by shooting. A bullet grazed the leg of one individual. The vehicle matched the description of one used in a shooting in the Bayview.
Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019
A burglary with unlawful entry was reported at 8:18 a.m. on the 1000 block of Plymouth Avenue.
Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019
A license plate was reported stolen at 3:59 p.m. on the 100 block of Bright Street.
Friday, Dec. 13, 2019
Taraval Station Police officers on patrol recognized a known subject with an arrest warrant on the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue. They confirmed the warrant and arrested the individual at 2:03 p.m.
A forced-entry burglary was reported at 2:33 p.m. on the 600 block of Garfield Street.
A package was reported stolen at 3:28 p.m. on the 200 block of Chester Avenue.
Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a robbery at 2:29 p.m. on the 100 block of Lobos Street. The victim reported that she had been talking on her cell phone and walking when she was suddenly pushed to the ground by two suspects. The suspects took the victim’s phone before immediately fleeing the area.
An incident of unlawful entry was reported 1:37 p.m. on the 700 block of Garfield Street.
