INGLESIDE, San Francisco — The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside police stations. The following summary is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents recorded between Sunday, March 29 and Saturday, April 4.

An incident of vandalized property was reported at 6:24 p.m. on the 200 block of Arch Street.
An incident of vandalized property was reported at 2:31 p.m. on the first block of Grafton Avenue.
Monday, March 30, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a fight at 1:25 p.m. on the first block of Sadowa Street. The victim said he was parking his vehicle in front of his house when he found the suspect’s vehicle double parked in front of his driveway. The victim honked his horn and then circled the block. After he was able to park in his driveway, two suspects from the double parked vehicle yelled at and punched him. They also kick his vehicle. Both suspects fled when the victim’s nephew exited the house to provide assistance.

Taraval Police Station officers patrolling Ingleside responded to a report of shoplifting at 5:37 p.m. on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue. They detained three suspects, one of which attempted to flee from the officers. It was determined that the suspects had attempted to steal over $2,000 worth of merchandise. They were identified, advised and released.
An incident of vandalism to a vehicle was reported at 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Farallones Street and San Jose Avenue.
A package was reported stolen at 12:25 p.m. on the 200 block of Head Street.
An incident of vandalism to a vehicle was reported at 4:24 p.m. on the 300 block of Vernon Street.
A vehicle was reported burglarized at 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Westgate Drive.

Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of suspicious activity at a school at 2:55 p.m. on the first block of Geneva Avenue. The witness reported that they had heard the sound of breaking glass and upon investigation observed the suspect breaking windows with an unknown object. Officers located and cited the suspect.

A hit-and-run collision between two vehicles was reported at 7:44 a.m. at the intersection of Niagara Avenue and Tara Street.
Friday, April 3, 2020
A black 1988 Dodge Ram was reported stolen at 9:15 a.m. on the 100 block of Kenwood Way.
Saturday, April 4, 2020
An incident of slashed tires was reported at 12:00 a.m. on the 300 block of Victoria Street.
