INGLESIDE, San Francisco — The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.

Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020

Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a robbery at 8:19 p.m. on the 400 block of Grafton Avenue. The victim said she had been walking when two suspects approached her, forcibly swapped her ring and bracelets with fake ones and fled the area.

A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 8:37 a.m. at the intersection of Victoria and Garfield streets.

A collision involving two vehicles was reported at 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Holloway Avenue and Victoria Street.

No incidents reported.

Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020

Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a robbery at 9:56 p.m. at the intersection of Lobos Street and Plymouth Avenue. The victim said he had been about to exit a bus when the suspect suddenly ran up to him and began hitting him on his head. The victim dropped his cell phone and the suspect took it and fled.

Taraval Police Station officers responded to a report of a mailbox set ablaze at 4:45 p.m. at the intersection of Brighton and Ocean avenues. The San Francisco Fire Department extinguished the flames. The Postal Inspector will lead the investigation.

A forced-entry burglary was reported at 9:48 a.m. on the 1100 block of Holloway Avenue.

Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020

An unlawful-entry burglary was reported at 5:33 p.m. on the 1500 block of Ocean Avenue.

An unlawful-entry burglary was reported at 2:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Randolph Street.

Friday, Feb. 7, 2020

A person reported that he was walking on the 1100 block of Plymouth Avenue at 4:31 p.m. when he was mugged. The suspect forcibly grabbed the victim’s hand, took the victim’s cell phone and fled.

Music equipment was reported stolen from Aptos Middle School at 4:42 p.m.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 3:09 p.m. on the 1000 block of Ocean Avenue.

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Pinehurst Way and Ocean Avenue.

A two-vehicle collision was reported at 2:09 p.m. at the intersection of Randolph and Head streets.

A two-vehicle collision in which one driver left the scene was reported at 8:15 a.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Aptos avenues.

Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020

A vehicle was reported burglarized at 10:55 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean and Lee avenues.

A two-vehicle collision in which one driver left the scene was reported at 8:20 p.m. at the intersection of Junipero Serra Boulevard and19th Avenue.
