INGLESIDE, San Francisco — The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside police stations. The following summary is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents recorded between Sunday, May 10 and Saturday, May 16.
Sunday, May 10, 2020
A license plate was reported stolen at 6:04 p.m. on the 300 block of Chester Avenue.

Tuesday, May 12, 2020
Taraval Station Police officers responded to a report of an injury caused by gunshots at 3:17 p.m. at the intersection of Jules and Ocean avenues. The victim had been walking when he was caught in the crossfire of two separate groups who were shooting at each other.
Wednesday, May 13, 2020
Taraval Station Police officers responded to a report of an assault at 2:10 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Frida Kahlo Way. The victim, a Muni bus driver, said he requested that the suspect cover his face with a mask, which led to an argument in which the suspect spat at the victim. Officers located the suspect and issued a citation.
A green 1998 Honda CRV was reported stolen at 6:55 a.m. on the first block of Minerva Street.

A forced-entry burglary was reported at 3:14 p.m. on the 2600 block of Ocean Avenue.
Saturday, May 16, 2020
Taraval Police Station officers respond to a report of a fight that resulted in a stabbing at 4:50 p.m. on the 200 block of Orizaba Avenue. Officers detained the suspect and determined that the victim and suspect were acquainted. The altercation was the result of a confrontation over a cell phone and the suspect stabbed the victim’s arm. The suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
