The greater Ingleside neighborhood is patrolled by both Taraval and Ingleside Police Stations. The following is drawn from station crime blotters and does not include all reported incidents.
Monday, Dec. 2, 2019
A forced-entry burglary was reported at 8:13 a.m. on the 300 block of Louisburg Street.
Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019
Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of someone who had been shot on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue around 10:00 p.m. No victims or witnesses could be found. When questioned, one individual admitted to calling 911 to get away from his ex-girlfriend. The individual was cited for filing a false report.
A stolen license plate was reported on the first block of Farallones Street at 9:00 a.m.
A vehicle-to-vehicle collision was reported at 9:40 a.m. at the intersection of Brotherhood Way and Junipero Serra Boulevard.
A hit-and-run collision between two vehicles was reported at 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of Capitol Avenue and Broad Street.
A three-way vehicle collision was reported at 9:33 a.m. at the intersection for San Jose and Sickles avenues.
Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019
A forced-entry burglary was reported at 7:21 p.m. on the 300 block of Bright Street.
Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019
An attempted forced-entry burglary was reported at 6:58 p.m. on the 500 block of Arch Street.
A package theft was reported at 12:00 p.m. at the intersection of Orizaba Avenue and Shadow Street.
Friday, Dec. 6, 2019
Taraval Station police officers responded to a report of multiple gun shots at 2:44 a.m. on the 8200 block of Ocean View Terrace. The victim reported that their window was shattered and a wall was damaged.
Vehicle burglaries on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue were reported at 2:20 p.m. and 9:08 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019
At 9:02 a.m. on the 200 block of Plymouth Avenue there was a report of graffiti vandalism.
