The New Mission Terrace Improvement Association is organizing a march for safety on San Jose Avenue called “Have a Heart.” “We will carry signs and noisemakers, chant and sing as we walk on the sidewalk from the park to Santa Rosa Avenue, cross at the stoplight and walk back to cross into the park at the Santa Inez 4-way stop,” according to an announcement. “Our single issue is to call for safety for all of us on our busy streets.”
