A shooting occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. at Ocean and Jules avenues beside a gas station on Tuesday, May 12.

A bullet damaged Jesus’s windshield.

The occupants of two vehicles stopped to shoot at one another down Jules Avenue. The number of casings on the street number six by Ocean Avenue and dozens by Demontfort Avenue.

A pedestrian was caught in the crossfire. Nearby residents and employees of a business rendered first aid. San Francisco Fire Department took over after San Francisco Police Department officers from Taraval Station secured the area

Dozens of bullet casings on Jules Avenue.

Jesus described the vehicle as a White Mercedes with tinted windows. It sped off westward on Ocean Avenue.

“Ingleside can’t tolerate this violence,” Ingleside Merchants Association President and Ocean Ale House co-owner Miles Escobedo said. “We need a safe corridor and environment for the neighborhood. We’re going to ask for more resources from police and City Hall.”
