The Balboa Reservoir will be discussed by both its Community Advisory Committee and the San Francisco Planning Commission in remote meetings.
The 1,100-unit, 17-acre Balboa Reservoir housing development will be discussed at both the committee and commission level at two remote meetings this week.
On Monday, April 6, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Planning Department and Office of Economic and Workforce Development postponed the virtual meeting of the Balboa Reservoir Community Advisory Committee due to technical difficulties.
The meeting, which will focus on Design Standards and Guidelines for the project, is set to for Wednesday, April 8, at 6:00 p.m. A draft of the DSG is available online. Instructions for the meeting have been appended to the bottom of this article.
On the afternoon of Thursday, April 9, the Planning Commission will consider several necessary approvals that are important for the project to advance in a timely manner. The agenda is available online.
“Given all that’s happened with the pandemic, is the funding secure for the reservoir, Upper Yard and Valente Perini among other projects?” New Mission Terrace Improvement Association President David Hooper told The Light. “How will the city decide to prioritize if the funds aren’t available?”
