New plans for the long-running housing project on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue will be revealed by the development team.
The development team behind the long-running project on the 1600 block of Ocean Avenue will hold a preliminary meeting this Friday evening.
TJ Development and Global Premier Development will present the latest version of the project at a pre-application meeting after years on hiatus.
According to the meeting notice, the eight-story building will replace two existing residences with 227 housing units, stand 78 feet high and have more than 119,000 square feet.
The previous plans were for a four-story market rate building with 54 units and 27 parking spaces.
The proposal requires the demolition of four commercial buildings. Tenants that will be displaced include The Ave Bar and Ocean Hair Design, both of which are San Francisco Legacy Businesses.
