They gathered together in studios, cafes, bars and on the streets to talk and argue about art, its meaning, and how and what to paint. Together they shaped the Avant-garde world of Impressionism, and eventually opened doors for the Modern Art Movement of the 20th Century and beyond.

City College of San Francisco 1st annual end of year celebration

The Examiner reported today that the “nonprofit San Francisco Parks Trust is donating $100,000 it has raised to gift rec centers with equipment.”
The Sunnside Conservatory and the Sunnyside Clubhouse have been allocated thousands of dollars:
$5,000: Sunnyside Clubhouse, for Tots (age 5 and under) program supplies and equipment
$5,000: Sunnyside Conservatory, for furniture to enable its use for RPD programs and as a rental space
